For larger pieces of work what spacing would you recommend to place washers for screws as fixings to main frame. Seperately, when you fill a large surface area on jackoboard/hyraboard with thinset and tiles should the exposed reverse side be buttered with thinset to ensure it is weatherproof and or advoid snapping when lifting into housing??
